DVS Home Ventilation Products
DVS EC Premium Connect Home Ventilation System
- Positive pressure with heat recovery using free warm air from your roof space on sunny days.
- Requires a dry and breathable roof space.
- It delivers fresh, dry, filtered air from your roof space to your home.
- Can be ducted directly outside, though this is not recommended in cold and/or humid outdoor environments.
- Only needs 1 fan to create a positive pressure inside your home. Larger homes can use 2 fans.
- Adapts to the ambient temperature. If the supplied air temperature is warmer than your home, fan speed will be increased so that free warmth will be transferred into your living areas up to your desired temperature.
- The most affordable option in our whole home ventilation products, while still delivering class-leading performance and innovation.
DVS EC Reclaim Connect Heat Recovery Ventilation System
- Balanced pressure with true “heat recovery” using a counterflow Recair Sensitive HRV/ERV core.
- Suitable for any home with an accessible roof space.
- Can be installed in a subfloor using floor vents.
- Always ducted directly outside.
- HRV core works especially well in cold climates.
- ERV core available for hot and humid climates.
- Needs 2 fans (one for supply and one for exhaust), insulated duct, inline filter tubes, and a heat recovery core.
- The heat exchanger reclaims energy produced by the exhausted stale air, and redistributes it into your home with up to 98% efficiency.
- 2 - 3 times more expensive than a DVS EC Premium Connect when installed in a similar sized home.
DVS EC Heat Transfer System
- Transfers warm air from a heat source (such as a wood fireplace) and distributes it evenly to colder rooms in your home (such as bedrooms).
- Suitable for any home with an accessible roof space and unbalanced temperatures.
- Filtration can be added to filter out dust, pollens, mould spores and wood burner smoke from the air in your home.
- Only needs 1 fan to transfer heat throughout your home. Larger homes can use 2 fans.
- Automated temperature control and fan speed adjustment from an intuitive custom made controller.
- Technically not a "home ventilation system" as it is redistributing air already inside your home rather than introducing fresh air into your home.
DVS Home Ventilation Systems
Home ventilation systems manufactured by DVS use advanced technology (such as EC motors and Wi-Fi connectivity) to gently introduce cleaner, drier, filtered air from the roof space or from outside your home. Home ventilation systems significantly reduce problems like crying windows, mould and mildew, which are key triggers for asthma and allergies.
In winter, good air circulation and home heating are essential for maintaining air quality. A home ventilation system from DVS removes the excess damp, moisture-filled air and improves the overall air quality inside the house, making it much healthier for you and your family. And, once it’s installed, a DVS ventilation system costs from just eight cents a day to run, making it a good investment for not only the well-being of your family but also the value of your home.
We are proud to offer the latest range of premium DVS products, including positive pressure heat recovery home ventilation systems, balanced pressure heat/energy recovery home ventilation systems (HRV/ERV), summertime cooling addons, integrated heat transfer addons, and a range of advanced filtration technologies.
Problems Solved with Home Ventilation
Australian homeowners are increasingly keeping their windows closed due to noise, pollution and security. This reduces healthy natural ventilation and can increase the inhalation of harmful pollutants and respirable dust.
Modern homes are well insulated and sealed tight to increase energy efficiency, but are more likely to have poor ventilation because they cannot breathe. Opening doors and windows is not always practical and does not provide adequate ventilation, which needs movement and exchange of air.
Home ventilation systems offer a range of benefits:
Asthma
A home ventilation system can reduce exposure to triggers and subsequently the symptoms. Common causes of asthma and allergies include excess moisture and condensation, dust mites, mould, mildew and airborne mould spores.
Allergies and/or hay fever
An allergen is something that triggers an allergic response. Allergens found in everyday environments include pollen, mould, animals and dust. The rate of environmental allergies, including hay fever, eczema and dust mites, has doubled in 15 years. Most of the research points to the state of our damp, cold home environments and the air we’re subsequently breathing in.
Damp and/or mouldy home
Mould is almost always caused by dampness and poor ventilation in your home.
The signs of dampness and poor ventilation can often be quite obvious.
However, in newer homes, which are built to be almost airtight under building regulations, signs of poor ventilation aren’t always initially visible and may exist in the form of excessive moisture that can’t escape and hidden damp, which accumulates over time.
Musty odours
Musty odours, caused by dampness and poor ventilation in your home, are pretty off-putting and not particularly healthy.
Getting clean, fresh air in regularly through your home with proper ventilation will help greatly with lingering smells, flushing out the stale, contaminated air along with any musty odours.
Condensation
If you know your home has weeping windows, you’re definitely not alone. Thankfully, fixing window condensation can be as simple as improving the ventilation in your home.
Condensation forms on cold surfaces when they come into contact with moisture in the air. Dripping condensation and excessive moisture can result in a number of issues for your home and your family’s health.
Cold home
A warm and dry home is much easier to heat and will heat up much faster than a cold, damp home.
Hot home
As the sun sets, the air outside your home cools rapidly. Generally, this is also when your windows are closed to prevent pests from entering, but unfortunately it also traps heat indoors.
Unbalanced temperatures
Rooms that get more sun or have a heat source are generally warmer than those without. Heat transfer systems balance the temperature in your home by evenly distributing energy from a heat source, such as a fireplace or heater, throughout your home.
Stuffy home with poor indoor air quality
Cooking smells, musty wardrobes and basements, pet odours and chemicals used for cleaning are pretty off-putting and not particularly healthy.
Getting clean, fresh air in regularly through your home with proper ventilation will help greatly with lingering smells, flushing out the stale, contaminated air along with the nasty odours.

DVS Positive Pressure Heat Recovery Ventilation Systems
Fresh, dry, filtered air from your roof space or from outside your home delivered to the habitable areas of your home. A positive pressure is created inside your home that ‘pushes out’ the stale, unhealthy air.
The DVS EC Premium Connect is a superior positive pressure ventilation system. Featuring the latest ventilation technology from DVS, you can now control your home’s humidity, temperature and air quality from a fingertip. Enjoy the benefits of a drier and healthier home now with our EC Premium Connect model.
The ventilation system features a wireless CO2 sensor, which continually monitors the level of carbon dioxide in your home. When CO2 reaches an unhealthy level, the ventilation system will instantly increase the level of fresh air delivered into your home – helping to keep you and your family healthier all year round.
Thanks to its heat retention and heat recovery functionalities this ventilation system adapts to the ambient temperature. If the supplied air temperature is warmer than your home, free warmth will be transferred into your living areas up to your desired temperature. If the supply air is colder than your house (such as winter evenings), the fan speed can be slowed down to keep the home as close as possible to your desired temperature.
DVS Balanced Pressure Heat Recovery Ventilation Systems
Fresh, dry, filtered, prewarmed air from outside your home delivered to the habitable areas of your home. Warm, stale air extracted from kitchens and bathrooms. Heat is recovered by a European counterflow heat exchanger.
The DVS EC Reclaim Connect is a superior balanced pressure ventilation system. With the increase in design of airtight dwellings in Australia there is a greater focus on balanced ventilation and heat recovery. Mechanical ventilation is essential to manage internal moisture in airtight buildings. For this reason balanced pressure heat recovery ventilation systems like the DVS EC Reclaim Connect are perfect for modern homes.
The ventilation system features a wireless CO2 sensor, which continually monitors the level of carbon dioxide in your home. When CO2 reaches an unhealthy level, the ventilation system will instantly increase the level of fresh air delivered into your home – helping to keep you and your family healthier all year round.
If you’re looking for ways to create a healthier and more energy-efficient home, our ultimate balanced pressure heat recovery ventilation system is the perfect ventilation solution for your home. The heat exchanger reclaims energy produced by the exhausted stale air, and redistributes it into your home. This means that less heating is required to keep your home warm, which equates to big savings – both to your power bill and the environment.
