Subfloor Ventilation Kits with AC Motors
These are our everyday subfloor fans of choice, proven throughout a decade of our own installations. Each fan features a premium German-made ebm-papst motor, housed in our custom-moulded Australian casing designed specifically for demanding environments. Quieter and more efficient than comparable mixed flow fans, they also offer outstanding durability and performance in harsh subfloor conditions, including high humidity, dust, and fluctuating temperatures.
Built to withstand the rigours of continuous operation, these fans are ideal for long-term use in areas where reliability is critical. The motors are thermally protected and engineered for longevity, reducing the risk of failure in difficult-to-access spaces.
Our AC motor kits offer excellent value. While more affordable than our EC motor kits, they still deliver powerful airflow at a fixed speed optimised for efficiency. These motors operate with remarkably low noise levels and are capable of moving large volumes of air through ducting — making them a robust, cost-effective solution for subfloor ventilation.

Our EC motor fans are the premium choice for subfloor ventilation where energy efficiency and acoustic performance are a priority. Fitted with high-performance ebm-papst electronically commutated (EC) motors, they are housed in our durable, Australian-made casing — purpose-built for tough, enclosed environments.
These fans are exceptionally quiet, making them ideal for installations where noise sensitivity is a concern. The variable speed motor allows for precise control of airflow, so the fan only uses the energy it needs — maximising efficiency while reducing noise and operating costs over time. This makes EC motors particularly well-suited to continuous operation or systems where conditions vary throughout the year.
While more expensive upfront than AC motors, EC motors offer superior performance, ultra-low running costs, and whisper-quiet operation at reduced airflow rates. For projects demanding the highest standard in ventilation technology, this is the fan of choice.
