Distribution boxes are a core component of radial ventilation systems such as Air Excellent, connecting the ventilation unit to supply and extract valves throughout the home. Airflow to each duct run can be balanced using restrictors fitted at the distribution box connections. The required box size depends on total airflow, number of duct runs, and system design. Air Excellent distribution boxes are unique in that each box can accommodate all Air Excellent duct types, allowing different rooms to use different duct sizes where required.

200 Series Distribution Boxes

The 200 Series is a modular system designed for smaller air volumes and space-constrained installations. Boxes can be expanded using extension kits and adapters to create a tailored solution without oversizing. Their compact design makes them ideal for residential projects, and they can be mounted on walls, floors, or ceilings by a single installer without separate brackets.

800 Series Universal Distribution Boxes

The 800 Series offers a universal, high-capacity solution in three fixed sizes with 8, 16, or 24 duct connections. They support mass flow duct connections from 125 to 200 mm using stepped adaptors and can be installed vertically or horizontally. Optional sound-damping kits reduce system noise and crosstalk, making the 800 Series ideal for higher-airflow residential installations.
